Rihla is a personal development journey for Muslims, grounded in real behavior-change principles and real Islamic scholarship, aimed at the character your faith actually asks of you.
We'll email you the day it's ready.

The Problem
Every self-improvement app treats your goals and your deen as two separate things.
The research behind lasting change is solid: build identity first, and the habits follow. But none of it was built with your deen in mind. It doesn't know what character Islam asks you to build and doesn't know what you need to let go of to get there. Rihla applies the same principles, guided by real Islamic sources, aimed at becoming who your deen actually describes.
Inside the System
Built around who you're becoming
Identities & Traits
Every identity comes with the traits it actually demands.
Choose the identity you're building and Rihla shows you the traits it requires: patience, generosity, discipline. Each trait comes with its own daily practice and habits, plus short videos that teach you what actually goes into building it.

Avoid
Becoming someone means giving something up too.
You can't build discipline while social media eats your morning, and you can't build character around content that works against it. Avoid tracks what you're cutting out with the same streaks and accountability as your habits.

Reflect
End your day looking at what you're grateful for.
A short daily reflection and gratitude practice. A moment to look back on the day, name what went well, and close it with intention instead of just letting it end.

Journeys
When one thing's slipping, give it your full attention for seven days.
Notice yourself losing patience more than usual, or falling short somewhere specific? Start a 7-day Journey built around that one trait. A focused stretch to bring it back under control before it becomes a pattern.

Streaks & Analytics
See exactly how you're keeping up to identify where you need to level up.
Every trait, every avoid, every journey, tracked as a streak you can check anytime. Seeing the number keeps you accountable and keeps you coming back, which is how the discipline actually gets built.

Not generic advice with an Islamic label on it.
Every identity, trait, and lesson inside Rihla is built on real Islamic scholarship and sound sources. What you're taught to build, and why it matters, comes from the deen itself.
"I've been looking for this tool since my scholarship days."
Something that connects every habit I build to the character it's meant to shape, and every character to the person I'm actually trying to become. I looked for years. Every habit tracker I found treated habits as disconnected checkboxes, disconnected from why any of them mattered in the first place. And almost none of them were built on Islamic scholarship at all which struck me as strange, because our deen has more to say about character and growth than most of the frameworks I kept being handed.
The clearest version of this problem, for me, was simple: I live away from my parents. I want to be a better son. But "be a better son" isn't a habit, it's a role, and that role demands specific things from me: patience, presence, generosity with my time even from a distance. Nobody had built the tool that started there, at the role and the character it needs, and worked down to the daily habit. Every tool started with the habit and hoped the rest would follow.
We all carry multiple roles like this; father, husband, business owner, friend, son and each one asks something different of us. Rihla is built around that structure: pick the role you're working on, see the character it actually requires, and get a daily practice to build it. Underneath that, hundreds of curated activities act as a guide through the journey, prompts and practices grounded in real Islamic sources meant to keep you moving forward rather than standing still.
This is the tool I wished existed. I'm genuinely hoping it changes something for how Muslims think about becoming better, in every role we hold. It's still early, and I'd love to hear from you as we build it.

Asked often
Habit trackers ask what you want to do more of. Rihla starts one step earlier: who you're trying to become. Then it works backward to the traits and habits that identity actually needs, taught through real Islamic scholarship, not generic advice.
Every identity and trait is built on real Islamic sources and sound scholarship, delivered through short videos and daily practices.
Product launches on 15th October 2026.
That's what Journeys are for, a focused week to bring a specific trait back under control. Streaks come with a bit of grace built in, rather than punishing a single missed day.
Start becoming. It costs nothing to begin.
